Pirated PDFs don't make any appearance in the games I play.
But that could be because most of the gamers I play with are computer illiterate.

And yes, if you want an accurate depiction, the maps should be hastily-drawn... but then, an accurate depiction would include profanity, and someone boasting about the pdf he'd pirated. Adverts provide a utopian dream, if not that of the customer then at least that of the company:D

Yeah - but they should be appealing to NEW players. And most new players come from highschool. But definitely way too good looking - and disturbingly healthy&fit.
The maps should be hastily drawn on scraps of paper - not "official products"...
And there are way too few dice lieing around the place...
