As chaos erupted around her, Karala stepped out of the protective  
circle of her friends, her Wolf a snarling protector, and approached  
the furious Mystic. Placing her little pipe to her lips, she tinkled,

"I am Karala-Walks-With the-Great-Wolf and I am wierded to save your  
People, though it will cost me dear. I have known this since  
childhood. Do you, Mystic, not recognise my Protecter, my Predator?"
