(Nice set of supporting arguments and abilities there
Loran!)
Princess Erengazor is impressed with words of wisdom
from both Aalmon and Anzhur, delighted by the charms
of the former and the solemn with gravity of the
latter.
"I too, have no admiration for war", she states
sincerely. "We at Senatos have been victims of
opportunism many times in recent years. In Salfester,
politics tends to be a matter of intrigue, diplomacy
and the occassional assasination. Large scale war is
something that is more for might empires, and we are
but petty-states."
"We have little to gain in this upcoming conflict and
are only sending forces as a gesture of unity among
the people of the lake and especially to strengthen
links with our allies. However, I am very moved by
your comments. Great heroes such as you do not deserve
to engage in common battles."
"Perhaps I can convince our allies that your skills
could be put to better use; and perhaps we can end
this war with the most minimal of bloodshed. After
all, I see some profound injustice with the possible
premature death of the long-lived, albeit austere,
people of Arolinit."
"The King of Seshnela is an abhorrent being. His
treatment of his population is less that satisfactory,
and he is unpopular among both his lords and the
people of the land. Part of the reason, one supposes,
that the conspiracy has hatched."
"If we were to remove him from power; quickly and
decisively - and replace him with people of saner
disposition, not we would be better prepared for this
Kingdom of War, of which I have heard only disturbing
rumours, but we could save the lives of many. What say
you, members of the Fellowship?"
