On my own requests, demands or petitions to you, I will not speak now, not until I have desserved your trust, Lord Wilkairtha!”

The Loskalmi looked bravely into the inhuman eyes of the immortal.
- “All you have to know yet is that I’m fully supporting my friends, Karala Who-Walks-With-White-Wolf and Aalmon Far Rider, in their quite unbelievable project : correct some of the old wrongnesses within the curse that Talor launched upon your people. For you, it is the same story, but for us, ages of times have passed, perhaps the case can be reviewed…”

The bearer of the red banner dismounted and calmly took out of its scabbard his magic silver sword, truly a werewolf slayer’s weapon, and offered the hilt to telmori leader.
- “Times are changing, old alliances and vendetta are shifting…”

Azhur put a knee on the ground, visibly accepting the superiority of Wilkairtha.
- “Accept my blade in your fight against the undeads and all enemies of life. The Nameless Man has forseen that a great ritual will bring evil and chaos back to the world, to break the compromise of Time! Whatever our supposed oppositions, this is a point that should bind us united against the ultimate evil.”

As each member of the fellowship reappears Aalmon seems to relax, he

rag-tag group looks much like those you met before, nor are our 
intentions like those you met before. We have been seeking you for a 
while now, send from far North of here by the shade of the first mortal 
to avert a disaster that may befall all his descendants. On the way here 
I think each of us has had a glimpse of why we need to seek you out and 
what we need to do. For when you last met the bearers of this banner 
something terrible was unleashed upon you, upon the world. I believe 
that curse can be, if not entirely undone then at least made anew into 
something different and I believe we are here to seek out the path to 
this transformation. "

He walks over to the diorama

"But there are other more pressing matters and those that all of us 
would consider our foes at any time, the undead. We have come to lend 
what strength we have in common cause against this enemy."

He paused and took out his crystal chess pieces, gazing at them 
thoughtfully for a moment "I would not like to upset your thinking but 
in my own humble way I have been studying the position and - perhaps I 
am wrong - I think this piece may be missing" and he stepped over to 
place the black king off to one side of the main battle yet overseeing 
all that went on. "If my divination is right then the piece is named 
Theoblanc and is the key to the whole thing."
