[OOC)
Please don't take too bad, what i'm writing. I'm overplaying all the misandurstandings accumulated since the beginning for Azhur;

Imagine how Azhur perceives Baros: a half-man half-beast, ready for sexual interaction each time Icthya is near (I invite you to see the last J.J. Annaud's comedy film, there's an active satyre there :-D)... Icthya been for Azhur (if you remember well the "fellow" discussion) a MALE plant-thing... Difficult to avoid a blurring between satyr and broo especially in a malkioni mind where chastety and platonic love are virtues and debauchery becoming a sin quite fast (Lev even told me that my common magic "C'mon baby lit my fire" would cause me problems with judge Kraken, so imagine ;-)

Aalmon turned to the knight, sorrow on his face "Gbaji haunts my dreams,
when we were on the ship I spoke of fearing a curse worse than that of
the Telmori - Gbaji is that curse. To be on the path of enlightenment is
to fight Gbaji on a personal level each and every day but the risk of
the path is the risk of defeat in that fight. This was challenge was
brought to us by Sedenya herself, this is hardly a secret and we know
that others sometimes fear or hate us for it. "

I can’t! because these words haunt me since that day and more since ‘your’ heroquest doomed my only faith. Now I can understand why Arkat and Talor loathed the envoys of Gabji!”

> - “Not that I know what to do, but we can’t… we shouldn’t use this… living symbol of lubricity, that you call your brother… not to destroy what was the hope of all the simple believers of the Rokari Church in Seshnela. Trust me, true believing in the One God is a joy and a relief, I’m sure of that... now that I’ve… lost Him.”

Aalmon had been strangely calm, yet he visibly tensed at these words
about his brother and his expression darkened. Those who had known the
envoy for the past few months could see a glint of real anger, almost
hatred, in his eyes at the words of contempt and disgust towards his
brother.

> He sat back to his place and he finished nearly weeping.
> - “This will be utterly sinful… What will become of them, if their leader appears to be the puppet master you described? Didn’t you listen to Swordsinger’s tale about Vivamort? That’s when all hope is gone that you have to turn to the Void… we should keep our honor spotless and stay on what duty imposes to us : Protect the Farmer Caste, at least it is my task as Knight.”

Aalmon turned back to Wilkairtha, for all that it had angered him the
Hrestoli's speach had given him a moment more to think through the
options and wonder about the time left to them "As you see we are not
all entirely convinced this plan is the only one or that is does not
have a price. I believe that this is the best plan but when Azhur
presents his alternative you might prefer it. The problem as I see it is
that we have little time for debate, in two nights time the undead will
be at their greatest strength and the telmori driven onto their fangs by
the power of the Curse. How we deal with Theoblanc matters but unless he
is close at hand we can do no more than divert his attention for the
next two days. I plead that you first speak with Kerala and the wise
woman Theonora, she has the power to help you and the Telmori side-step
this trap of time that the vampires have set - all you need is a few
hours for the sun to rise again and with the moon still full the
advantage will be with you. They carry the means to sidestep this trap
with them. Then once the pawns have been dealt with the king will still
remain, ready to create more pawns from the bodies and souls of men to
doom the world until we deal with him."

He bows to the strange immortal and walks back to his companions,
walking up to his brother he embraces him for a long while.

OOC: Related yes, probably not identical. I think what matters for the
story is that Aalmon thinks that his illumination is fundamentally
similar to the teachings of Nysalor and that he runs the risk of falling
into the nihilism of Gbaji.
