Kalen also explains what happened when he entered the
castle, with the help of the Bazak leader and how the king
was protected.  He also tells of his time in the nice
little room underground, "the only problem was that the
door was locked, a little bit of an unfriendly way to treat
a guest.  By the way,what are these deer things?  Are they
the knee high creatures I see a lot of people with?"

Kalen contemplates methods of communicating with his own
kind over such distances, he also counts the number of holy
hand grenades he has left.  He doesn't like the thought of
wasting them on blowing up some lovely stone work, that
could be carved  so nicely!

He goes to explore the rock formations looking for any
signs of dwarf inhabitation, tunnels, weak points that if
hit they may collapse and form a natural dam.  if he finds
such a thing he will use his giant hammer or a holy hand
grenade to set a rock fall in motion.
