Icthya was feeling very glum. The dim and insipid light of the early
afternoon, the terrible effort it took to trudge through the mud, conspired
to turn her mood foul. She contained herself though, for Aalmon's last words
piqued her curiosity.

"Aalmon, you have a means to travel to the stars and back? Would you like to
explain more?"

"In the meantime, none of these places fills me with joy. Bad Deal, from
what I have heard, is what it sounds, a place where the stone men vend their
poisons to the world. But at least to travel there, I would see my home
again. The Blue Moon is not a place to visit in Dark Season, so we would do
best to leave it to later."

"As for the East, I have been there myself, travelling by sea, and my Tanuki
is from there. It is far. I have heard the name Yao Fune, for the sages with
whom I sat mentioned his name. It would be wise to obtain more knowledge of
the East, but in some respects, I can act as guide once there."

OOC: I guess there is a chance that Icthya knows more about the East. The
sage(s) with whom she spoke while there could of course include Yao Fune,
but I suspect that Lev has thought more about the sages there than I ever
have Peter Metcalfe wrote this:

So, might be best to leave all that for closer to the time.

Meanwhile, Bad Deal...I can't work out where it is, beyond being in the
Ralios section of one of the books...?

Sam.
