buck-toothed Uncoling*, "and I think they do not know the Green Age**,
though their steeds might. But we might do better with their companions.
They are renowned hunters, in this world and the other, and we could
challenge them to a hunt."

Icthya looked at the Uncoling in the eye for the first time on this voyage,
"with ourselves as the quarry. I would consider it an act of worship to
Velhara to do this and we might buy passage for the entire Fellowship. They
have, too, one fatal weakness," Icthya's violet eyes burned brightly into
Karala's, "They dislike killing. What say you? One cycle of the sun to catch
us."
