[HQ Ignorance] Scene Eight: The High Llama Pass

OOC: Eye for an eye, hey Dougie? ;-)

IC:
Icthya stepped forward, hissing in a warning fashion at one of the high
llamas which looked ready to spit at her, and addressed the giants. Choosing
the one with the finest clothing, she complemented him[her?] on his[her?]
embroidery and proposed that she and the human with the wolf, all of whom
are hunters like the giants, challenge the grotarons to a hunt, to allow the
whole group to pass.

OOC:
If the grotarons listen (and have a language in common), then she quite
happily ignores the high llama riders (whether this helps her case or no we
shall see) and lays out the terms, dismissing the financial rewards the
llama-riders may be seeking but glorifying the hunt which must surely
interest the giants more. She and Karala get a short headstart, then the
rest of the night until the next dusk.

She doesn't try to make it a "we win" vs. "you win" but rather a gift of a
hunt, an act of worship - a Green Age thing. If conditions are required then
"we win" - everyone can pass; if "they win" then when Icthya returns, he
will take the grotarons to hunt the great Shkuka Monster of Erontree with
her. Something like that.

I'm assuming of course that she knows something about the grotarons and they
are similar to the write-up, including the not being especially fond of
killing business and the embroidery. Erontree isn't far off, so...

And finally...this is not to preclude group bargaining or whatever. It could
even be a part of the price. I just like the idea of trying to avoid being
caught by a bunch of giants :)
