IC and OOC are acceptable standards and we can use
them here.
My experience of pbem is that flow is better than
steps. Using steps means you're invariably waiting for
someone to put their orders in and the game grinds to
a halt.
I tend to agree with Sam that devious tricks are
entertaining in collaborative storytelling when
everyone knows about them, even the victim. Of course,
it is perfectly acceptable for the player to keep
secrets also for entertainment value to revealed at a
later day (e.g., squidish priest of Saint Galvost)
Loran's character sounds just fine. I don't think
there are any specific HQ sources, but that doesn't
really matter. Just pick the keywords and your
abilities from your introductory narration and we'll
be fine.
As for the Master's advice... What do *you* want it to
be? ;-)
All the best,
Lev
