Speculation in-line...

But surly this is tempered by the certain knowledge that being true to
ones conscience is all that is required to reach Solace through the "Joy
of the Heart". Doing the right thing according to ones conscience is
paramount even if this goes against the wishes of your lord. This, I
think, will be especially true in a society that has recently been
through a military coup (did I say that, off to the comfy chair...).
What I'm trying to capture is the idea that all Loskalmi (?) know that
they are right and that they are superior. They have to, otherwise what
they have done is indescribably wicked and sinful, and all are dammed.
But no worries, their expression of faith and their system of cast
mobility is the one and only correct way. It has to be and it is. Those
that expressed doubts, disappeared during the Ban. Those few unbelievers
that are left, are more circumspect...

This double think is, perhaps, one of the causes for The Kingdom of
War. Mass thoughts, even psychotic unconscious ones, tend to have a
physical manifestation in Glorantha.

I was trying to put something in there to capture the feeling that
Loskolmi will be far more comfortable in mixed cast company than those
stuffy Seshnelans. After all, every noble has started out as a farmer;
well, spent some time down on the farm as a kid anyway. Also, every
farmer knows that if only he could just pass those watch committee
tests, he to could be just like that lord. Perhaps something like Feign
Deference and Talk Common.

The Loskalmi way is the one true path, we are the only people in the
whole world to know this, we are all going to Solace, aren't we cleaver.

> - Evangelical, yes why not
Well, thinking about this, perhaps there should be two opposites here
reflecting the two social movements that have come into existence after
the Ban lifted.
'Evangelical' for those that want to go out and spread the word, and
'Isolationist' for those that want to ignore the rest of the world.

Not so much perfect as self satisfied. I know that I'm right and if only
you weren't such a stupid foreign, you would know it too.
