[HQ Ignorance] Scene Three: Dilis Swamp

Karala watched the metal clad men of war prepare to do their calling,
and with a sigh, put down her own Iron edged weapons(*), and sat down
on the root of a nearby stunted tree.

Closing out the sight their monstrous attackers and the impending
violence, Karala felt comforted by the shaggy closeness of her Wolf
as she let her spirit soar free from its bodily cage, to soar up
above the mirky swamp and scout the area for any further evil or
other knowledge that might assist the party in its peril...

I've still to get to grips fully with the Animism rules (weekends
tend to be a bit hectic for me) but I don't think what I've described
fits very well into them. It does, however, reflect Gloranthan
reality as I've always understood it (from the old RQ days). If this
is a problem, I'm sure I can find a work around that does not bend
the rules, given a day or so (e.g.. she has a Scouting spirit frex,
or has Spirit Travel as part of the her 100 words etc)...

I will get on the case and write up a full character sheet soon as I
can.

*the Uncolings are one of the only Hsunchen peoples to make use of
metals thanks to their ancient friendship with the master (red &
black) smiths of the Third Eye Blue. I imagine that for this
important mission Karala would have been supplied with a fine set of
weapons. (I will of course add them to my 100 words). I like the idea
that the Boomerang is the cultural weapon of the Uncolings (& at
least one Googled source suggested that it was originally developed
to hunt reindeer!), with a "set" being a couple of returning light
boomerangs and a heavier non-returning one for big game / fighting.

All comment welcome :). Lev, I'm still not receiving my own posts to
the list - is there anything you or I can do to fix this, as I don't
know if others are receiving them (it seems that they are, but its
good to know...)
