[HQ Ignorance] Hero Points - Confused Pom!

Okay, I confess to be a touch confused here.
   
  I spent 30 chargen points at the outset, leaving me with zero HP.
   
  I just received 3 more, spent one on the relationship, leaving 2.
   
  I´m holding on to these in case I want to spend them on a contest.
   
  Or were the standard starting 3HP assumed and my question about this poorly phrased?
   
  Is Aalmon now heropointless? 
   
  Is Icthya heroically pointless?
   
  Sorry, I just liked the sound of that last one.
