Agreeing with Aalmon, Azhur tried to rejoiced himself in front of a good glass of wine, but even his “merrywine” magic couldn’t help him escape his melancholic mood
his youth has passed away, eternal winter was waiting for him. News of dying pagan gods was just an other proof of a declining world.

For Azhur the city of Syran appeared totally consecrated to idolatry. Arkati fragmented beliefs mixed and opposed more surely than in Otkorion were the Archbishop Suranthyr was ruling with an iron hand the henotheist church. Convinced that he will not find any hint of wisdom in this town, he still made the effort to visit main temples and churches, asking permissions to look for any archives that could help him to understand Talor’s time better. His target was to find any clue on the laughing warrior’s companions that could help the fellowship to locate and reunite the three weapons of the hero.

[OOC]
A chance for the game master to give more hints, if he want to.

[IC]
While visiting so-called sacred places, he felt once a strange vibration in him, as if a distant call was aiming him toward an unknown direction. He looked around and discovered that his eyes have just been caught by a pagan representation that he identified later in his copy of the Holy Book as the antique sorcerer Humct, the one worshipped by pagans as the death god. “Death again, thought the young loskalmi, my destiny is now fully linked to it. War and Death are my future and not ordinary death nor war, I should be better prepared for this confrontation
”

He was considering his feelings, when other thoughts came to him. “Arkat betrayed the malkioni for this pagan god, Arkat was killed too. Did he lost his faith as I’m loosing mine? Was his fight against Gabji the only way for him to keep living? But Talor was killed too, he didn’t loose his faith
even if his laughs could let think that he perhaps lost his mind somehow
 do I’m getting crazy too?”

On his way back, he tried to summarize the very strange lessons of the Banner. “Aalmon should help me here, only him can understand what’s interobjectivity can mean, he thought. Icthya was right, the plant-man will be happy to learn that the Banner has his own will, but is it wise to dedicate his soul to such an object?”

Suddenly he get a fantastic idea and ran crazily up to the place Othor was keeping the Banner. He wanted to test a point immediatly. He unfurled the Banner and asked with a deep troubled voice:
- “Red Banner of Valor, if you’re something more than accumulated knowledge in a old fabric, you can perhaps answer questions
so here is mine, my very first one, but it needs just a very simple answer : “Who are you, I mean, what’s your name?”

[OOC]
If we can interact, then we are on a good way to have a guardian, no ?
If the Banner has a name by itself, Azhur will make the presentation and a supernatural debate can begining among the players.

Aalmon listens calmly to what the messenger has to say, although he is
clearly upset at the news about Kraken for some reason.

When the messenger is gone he gathers a few things together to leave "It
has been a hard few weeks. I suggest that to lighten the mood a little
we each bring one thing that we like to share a feast together before we
speak with the overlord. Even though we have spent time together the
past days have shown me how little I know about you - its not always
easy to know where to start learning about one another so I suggest we
start with our stomachs. With that in mind I will take your leave to go
about my business and to do a little shopping. Oh and I won't be the
least bit insulted if not everyone's tastes are like my own."

Wearing his least travel-worn set of clothes he sets off into the city.
Passing through markets he replaces a few of his most worn-out
possessions and those belongings which have been lost or broken in his
travels, at each stall seeking word of one who speaks of the red moon.
Taking a few of his precious silver coins out he approaches some foreign
merchants seeking out the sorts of flavoursome spicy foods that the
Pelorian refugees had brought with them to Arrolia and that he had begun
to miss, along with a couple of skins of wine that could perhaps pass
for Arrolian. After this he seeks out a speaker for the Goddess - as
passionate and uncouth as to be expected in this faraway place - he
humbly requests time to pray and to speak together.

He listens to the news of the Empire with only mild interest, yet is
strangely disturbed by the tale of the dead storm god of a frozen
people. For all the enthusiasm of the demagogue he cannot help but
shudder slightly at the thought of the Dead Emperor and his minions
turning to god killing, as if the essence of the Kingdom of War were
everywhere making each hand turn to war rather than peace and each
conflict worse than it need be.

At last he asks a favour of the preacher "A cousin of mine had a silver
charm which gave him good fortune whenever he tried to find something
that was lost or mislaid. As we quest to find things left lost for many
lifetimes a charm of this sort would help me and my fellow questers in
our long quest against War itself. Would you do me the honour of helping
me to gain such a charm, so that the blessings of the Goddess can be
upon us in our task?"

OOC: Aalmon has 6HP set aside for this which would be a pretty powerful
charm (somewhere in the W2 range), if the Demagogue can't call down so
powerful a Lune then Aalmon will be happy with whatever help he can get.
