Can people give me an update on what languages their
characters speaks (or spend Hero points to add any new
ones)?

I've been pretty flexible about this in the past, but
as you're travelling further and further from home it
is worth keeping track of.

As can be expected you will have your mother tongue at
your cultural keyword level. Additional languages have
to be purchased. 

Languages in the same family can default to each other
at -5. (e.g., a Balazaring can figure out what a Dara
Happan is trying to say). The exception to this is the
various Hsunchen languages which have a -5 default
within the same region, but -10 beyond that.
