Azhur
remembered his father sending him on the quest for the Banner of Red
Valor and then to Sog City where the Fellowship was born. Suddenly he
wept... He wept with recognition, he wept liberated, he wept feeling
alive at last. His father should have been a very wise and cunning
man to make his son being at the right place with the right tool at
the right moment... or his father was a very blessed and holy man
inspired by the Great Creator, whatever His Name is and His Way of
being worshiped, to make his son discovering the value of the old
standard exactly when the fellowship needed support.

Othor
calmed his master and helped him in his preparation for a late visit
with the Overlord
of Sentanos, the Princess Erengazor.

On
their way to the princess Azhur told to his friends:

-”Icthya
was right, the banner is alive and ready to receive our support. I
have studied it since Icthya gave me the advice to put my trust in
it. Much more important, I have just learned today in an old scroll
at St Humakt's church that it's an old artifact owned in the past by
Zorscam the axe-wielder of Talor. The axe-wielder was beaten in
battle by Wilkairtha,
but the banner stayed on Arkat and Talor's side.”

He
smiled to the moving plant:

 -
“Perhaps plants know better how to fight winter and seed hope for a
coming spring... you showed me the right direction... I will never be
the same anymore, but I can still be useful.”

Then
he added to Aalmon:

-
“I need your insights, Aalmon, because only you and your weird
teachings can help me to understand both the cryptic messages of the
banner and the situation where I stand spiritually.”

To
all, he concluded:
-
We will be busy in our very next future, the Banner of Talor's
Fellowship is waiting for us, Wilkairtha
is waiting for us and now the princess of Sentanos is also waiting
for us !”

[OOC]
Great news, no ?

As Anzhur is in the temple of St. Humact, he immersed
himself in brooding sense of Death that hung in the
air. Death-worshippers they were, there was no doubt.
But it was veneration, as they were also truly
dedicated to skill at arms, which Anzhur respected,
and had a total commitment to Truth.

He watches the tests at arms for a while, and some joy
returns to him, for truly the skill and dedication of
the Liturgists was great. A temple guardian provides
him a tour of the facilities, which includes a visit
to the library where many of the tenets of St. Humact
are kept, along with some of the finest works of
battle literature in Railos.

As if by chance, Anzhur espied an old, musty scroll
bound in red cloth, so very similar to that of his
banner. His heart leapt when he saw the gold lettering
emblazoned on the case.

"The Fall of Zorscam, Companion of the Laughing
Warrior"

Excited Anzhur opened the scroll-case and started
reading, requesting assistance from the temple
guardian on the occassional word or phrase.

It spoke elegantly of a great battle between Zorscam,
the axe-wielder, by the werewolf Wilkairtha who
challenged him to single combat. The werewolf justly
blamed the Laughing Warrior for an affliction among
his people, and called his Companions craven. The
battle runs for many lines, and great magics are
invoked including numerous references to a red
standard, carried by Zorscam.

Despite many wounds, Wilkairtha eventually bested
Zorscam, cast the banner down and took his axe. The
banner was recovered by allied of Talor and Arkat, but
the axe was gone. Mention is made that Wilkairtha then
travelled to Seshnela where he and a army of
werewolves which razed the old Kingdom.

Giddy with the discoveries Anzhur rushed back to his
lodging and, breathing heavily, requested the name
from his banner.

The letters formed simply and cryptically: "I am the
Banner of Talor's Fellowship"
