After some thoughtful moment, Azhur addressed to Aalmon:
- “If we should find more than a physical weapon, I think that we should also know better about the historical facts around this weapons. Find a axe could also means bring back a babesteer gori pagan cult member, a sword a famous humakti and a flail... well... we need more facts. Of course, I will read in details the chapter on Saint Talor in my own holy book, but…”
And while the little vegetal fellow departed, discussing with the trolls, he pursued :
- “But perhaps, on the road, could we found a convenient place for researches on Talor’s story and on his weapons, something as a malkioni church or university? I believe the closest place which would have such an institution would be the large city of Fiesive, the original home of the Henotheist Church. There would certainly be there a lot of old material on how these heretics combined their righteous belief in a single deity with all these pagan gods… and we can get.. well… a different point of view on the topic. What do you think of this, Aalmon? Could we add a stage to our travel?”
But while the roars were coming out from the main hall, Azhur stopped:
- “Trolls? He began with an alarmed tone. Trolls at war?
Then he pondered:
- “I had this idea since I saw them, but it is certainly now the good time to try it !”
On this obscure words, he rushed to his package and took there the red old banner that his squire already unfurled in Dilis Swamp. Running to the Hall, he shouted:
- “Stop ! Don’t move ! I’ve got something to show you before…”
Then he saw the trolls and the dwarven guards positioning against Icthya.
- “This elf is with me!” He pointed combatively and then he fully deployed his banner.
- “And I am under the protection of the Red Banner of Valor! I have already discovered myself that this little plant-man is a bag of provocations... but you must consider the power of the banner of our fellowship because it is said to inspire allies and terrorize enemies!”
Azhur glanced first at the dwarves and then at the pack of growling trolls, being ready both for confrontation and negotiation:
- “The rules of this place obliges us to be allies, so let’s be inspired because if you wish to be my enemies then be cursed with terror!”
Lowering his tone, he presented to the trolls the mysterious embroidered inscriptions and asked them:
- “Could you read this words here? What do they say to you?”
OOC: ok let's test, camarades!

Hate Uz and Closed is (17+2) 19 total, plus Hate Elves
(+2) on behalf of the Uz (1W1); I rolled a 17, a
failure but bumped to success.
Sing Mother Song 15; pluse Lure Uz +1, plus Night of
No Starts, +1, Member of Fellowship +1, Tummy drumming
+1 = 19. Eep, I rolled a 20; a fumble.
So that's a fumble versus a success. Player suffers a
major defeat. Tanuki's song comes across as a total
parody of the Great Darkness and seriously offends the
trolls. They roar with anger and for a minute it looks
like there will be Elf on the menu; however the
Dwarven guards intervene and castigate Icthya severely
and warn him there are very tight limits to their
hospitality. "This is a special place where all
species may trade with the Mostal. Fights among the
customers are not permitted!"
