[OOC]
You're right, I think that's a stone in the narrator's garden...
Talor is a Malkioni Saint and is also the figure of our fellowship.
Personally, my orthodox reading of the gloranthan background doesn't tell me that Talor had done anything with hunshen and theistic people (worse Talor condemned Arkat because he joigned the humakti).
I see two possible solutions:
1. an unknown aspect of Talor's life can de defined by the Narrator that can help/spport the players who aren't malkioni (Talor the hunshen, Talor the theist)
2. more interesting for me because more in relation with our current situation, Talor had around him a fellowship with different people of different origin (Talor's weponbearers?) and we will discover their powers while adventuring. The nice point for the plot is that we are following the Red Banner not Talor, and the Banner can deliver new powers if linked with this old fellowship.
Imagine that the Banner is a Guardian in general, a scripture from the malkioni followers of Zorscam, the axe bearer of Talor, a spiritual charm from the hunshens and a theist power from the theist followers.
Probably totally out of the rules of common Guardians, but who cares ?
It's even not super-gift for the players who keep their magic rule's limitation and connot use all aspects of the Red Banner.
Just a modest proposal.
Loran

erm, how does any of this even vaguely apply to Karala?
Dougie?
