I support the idea of Nic about lifting Telmori's curse and Azhur can't accept to become a king when his duty is still to save his own land form the Kingdom of War.
But don't worry, Lady Marianne's love is bigger trap for his courage than such an glorious position...

Both Anzhur and Aalmon (around scene 35 ) said that
they wish to "right the wrongs" of Talor's Curse - and
now Karala is getting into that plot arc as well :-)
