[HQ Ignorance] Re : Scene 61: The King and Queen of Seshnela

A western nobleman addressed to the Luatha with a great respect :
- “What our companion means is that being from various origins and status, but being all concerned by the favourable resolution of our quest, we share the leadership of our fellowship with good will and courteous manners, depending on who among us is the most adapted person to the situation…”

The nobleman turned slightly to consider the newcomer, as if the words ‘courteous manners’ was still something to be checked in his case and he presented himself to the Luatha. His loskalmi accent was obvious to anyone understanding seshnegi language.
- “ I’m Azhur, third son of Lord Daymare in Loskalm, sent by my order and family to find a way to stop the barbarian Kingdom of War. We will certainly accept your advice as time is running on while our enemy is growing ever more dangerous. Alas your sad news confirm my intuitions…”

Azhur turned to the baron of Gilboch and concluded:
- “If we sail, we need a boat and of course some basic preparation. I want to write to the authorities of my country, so the costs of such travel will also be shared with them and not totally supported by your treasure...”

[OOC]
Azhur will write such a letter, hope for an answer of his father and at least will leave orders that any news from him will follow.
He also make all his possible to make sure that If the House Daymare take foot in Seshnela (father or brothers), his family will be welcomed by his step-family. What it will mean for the local politics is left to the GM unless someone is also interested by such development (but we might be a little far away from the main quest...)

Azhur loves Lady Marianne, this will be measurable with his new relationship "Husband of Lady Marianne", her ability being "Queen of Seshnela" at 13.
I don't know how many days (and nights) Marianne and Azhur are together, but if any "fertile seed" of the union can be planted (as said Icthya) then let it be... Azhur is far away of being as sophisticated as Aalmon in love affairs, but if his folk magic "Com'on baby lit my fire" may help, it will.

Quite improbable but I propose it anyway:
If we have enough time, perhaps Jareena may have learnt things on the earth goddess Seshna Likita (also if Mark is interested)
Depending on time availability and possibilities, some fertile rites may then be secretly used (if Marianne agrees, she will be in the confidence). Azhur is formerly a New Hrestoli but in fact an un-orthodox Arkati, thinking now that the pagan gods are real existing powers and he seems to him that such power can't be out of the frame designed by the Invisible God... no clear doctrine on that, without clue, Azhur relies on his former sacred book, personnaly thinking it could have lacks but still being a reliable tool to reach the One God.

Thanks for having kindly considered my objections.
Nic, sorry for the "20"... I fear now that this refusal will just raise the level of Aalmon's perversion (or will it show him that self-discipline is still a value in the vast, void and meaningless universe ? giving him a chance to rebounce in the right direction of his illumination ?)

One of the Luatha looks confused and sings "We did not
know that Talor's Fellowship had been influenced by
the more radical elements of the People's Republic of
Wexten." [1]

One of the Luatha nods and returns to their boat with
Rikku's equipment. Another sings (Rikku is probably
well over their angelic singing). "You have many
abilities Godlearner. Not only is your skill at ocean
craft exceptional, as is your knowledge of the coasts
and oceans, you also have a special gift. Your people,
unique to history can see the patterns in this world
unlike all others, even ..." - the Luatha hesitates
".. more than ourselves. Pray I hope you have learned
that the myths of Glorantha are to be respected and
are not resources to be plundered."

"Your brother, should you seek him, was last heard to
be with the Third Eye of the defunct God, Sunstorm in
the Kingdom of Ignorance. That was hundreds of years
ago, although with his spells of immortality it would
hardly surprise us if he was still alive."

The Luatha turn to the assembled members of the
Fellowship. Our advice to you is to travel quickly to
the East, and make use of this mans knowledge. Do not
tarry in the lands of Dragon Pass or Prax, for other
players, perhaps even greater than yourselves, are
conducting Hero Wars there. Stay only at the ports of
Khorst in Wenelia, of Nochet in Esrolia, Corflu in
Prax and Gio in Teshnos. Beyond that we cannot help
you."

"Leave quickly, for the Hero Wars have come to this
land as well. The war in Seshnela was just the
beginning. The Elder race of Waertegi, allies of the
Brithini, strike against the Kingdom of Nolos as we
speak. Soon their fleet will be destroyed and the
oceans in these lands will be in the hands of the
people of the sea."

1] Presumably due to a typographical error the Peoples
Democratic Republic of Wexten does not appear in the
Genertala map of Railos. However some have
appropriately recommended that it takes its place in
the otherwise unmarked island in the middle of Felster
Lake.
