Sitting behind the walls and waiting for nightfall against undead is a 
losing proposition and there are enough experienced soldiers in there 
that they would probably not need *that* much persuading. If the 
auxiliaries stay behind to defend the walls it makes little military 
difference, from the sound of them they would be as much a hindrance as 
a help in a complex battle of manouvre such as we are likely to end up 
with. Obviously if we can persuade Theoblanc to leave himself open to 
the Telmori without anyone leaving the city that's great but I'm not 
sure we can.

I don't want to simply march the army north to where the Telmori are as 
Theoblanc is quite likely to just capture the city, within which he 
would be safe from pretty much any plan we currently have.
