If we want to use the surprise of the conversion to our views of the rokari City, we have to keep them in the city. If we strike in the evening, we will have no rest and have to defend ourselves all night long against infatigable numerous undeads and vampires at their maximal power... I think that any exhausted survivor left in the morning will make then an easy prey for Nolos mercenaries, even flooded."

"The Aldryami will do what they can to give you a good night's sleep.
Use it well for by dawn we will be depending on the strength of the
walls and your right arms, if not sooner. Then it will be your turn to
hold them up until the time is right."

They will be nearer, perhaps diminished, delayed and disorganized by the flood, an small event seen as just a last nasty surprise form the elves, but still feeling strong with Segurane waiting for them, while in fact their mighty holy night will be behind them... We attack them with all our sorcerers, infantrymen and surviving skirmishers regrouped during the night, all of them lead by a few fresh dismounted knights in light armor. This assault will not be really for victory, even if surprise may help us a lot, but just to delay them and save time for the telmori to come. We retreat as slowly as possible into Segurane, this to defend the city after... Here we have the strong support of the heavy mounted chivalry in a prepared area... When the first enemy units arrive near Segurane, we launch the city knighthood in a hard shock.... Mhmmm...the most difficult point would be to convince all rokari knights
> to be the last ones in the battle while normaly customs put them at the most glorious position on the front line, but customs don't usually make you defend your city in a new enchanted forest... Mhmmm I will have to reveal them that one of the secrets of the Sparrowhawk Knight Order is to accept with humility the most efficient position instead of the most glorious one. I will also probably have to manage the most hot headed knights by sending them on foot in the first assault.... Does this sound better, Aalmon?"

"I would say take any chance you have to hold them at the bridges but do
not waste good men. The judgement will be for you and the leaders with
you. You know the overall plan, how you fill your part must will be for
you to decide when you see what happens. No use making more detailed
plans now for we do not know what the enemy will attempt."

Karala is there with them, if they don't come in the right time, after the full moon night, we will have to rely on the desesperate plan B including the seshnela regalia used to lure Theoblanc and leading him in Wilkairtha's refuge. Only one person is able to make sure that the bait goes directly into the telmori warband... I fear it is me because only me can read on the Banner of Red Valor where Karala will be and then go directly to her position, wherever she is, still in the village or running to Segurane, east along the river or west through the forest... of course your support there, my friends, will be absolutly welcomed, especially Icthya who can lead us in the depth of this wild forest with ease... I hope we will not have to use this option!"

"Me too. Lets trust each of our companions to do their part and if they
do we will prevail. Now I think its time for me to go do my part. If you
can have these saddle-bags filled with gold I will be ready for any
opportunity with the mercenaries and then I will ride to join my unit."
OOC: we can discuss this forever but I think its probably time to move
on and see how the plan goes. Unless anyone objects my next post will be
Aalmon preparing to start the battle.
