Azhur smiled as the Seshnelan Knignt was offering him his services:
- "Please, don't call me a prophet, Aarolin... Prophets come with a holy vision send by God Himself to bring hope for everyone in time of despair. It is not yet time for despairing and I've got no vision, just a personal credo 'Duty, Chivalry and Equality' and it dictates me my behavior: as a knight I have the duty to protect everyone from the Enemy with equality."

He turned to his closest friends while the Telmori campment was preparing to move.
- "But I also have a precise plan, he then added. First we will run a common practice heroquest from my country: Hrestol, as you imagine, is there especially venerated. All his deeds are very well studied and described in our sacred book. I want to use one of these descriptions where Hrestol meets and convinces some foreigners, as an inspirating ritual. I fear that the Segurane inhabitants will refuse the truth even with a witness from their side."

- "For this ritual, we have several possibilities: Hrestol meets the pagan and SwordSinger could incarnate this pagan, Hrestol meets the people of Akem and Othor descends from the Akemites, Hrestol meets the Malkioni and Aarolin can easily play the role of an old structered malkioni-faith believer, we even have The beast acting as a krjaki is needed, but I hope not... another last possibility is that we can re-enact Hrestol the Young meeting the seshnegi elves and convincing them to let him visit their forest, incidentally that where he learned that his mother was a earth witch-queen, worshipping serpentine idols, but if we don't need this last part of this story, the auspices seem pretty good for it: we have elves and and we are located in an elvish forest in Seshnela... mhumm... I have to study which ritual will help us at best depending of our current situation..."

[OOC] Lev, could you check practice HeroQuests and rituals (HQ rules p101) and tell us what could be the most interesting solution, balanced between the maximum bonus and not too much time taken (or an other one if Azhur's sacred book suggests something else...). The target is to get a strong bonus to the "Convince others" skill that Azhur will use to ally with Segurane city.

The loskalmi knight began to collect his package and adviced:
- "Let's go, the ritual will take a couple of hours. If we want it to be successful, we will have to work quite a lot. I wish it to be quite visible and comprehensible, because I still hope that my congregation got an eye on my own deeds... If they have seen what I have already sacrified to obey them, they will undestand that now I need their support.

He concluded with a lower voice:
- "Hopefully they will also alert my father... We will need all sorts of help, later. I wish Aalmon would be here too... he is strong for implanting new concepts in closed minds."

Othor raised an hand to ask a question:
- "What should I prepare for the next step my Lord? How do you want you to present yourself at the gates of Segurane?"

Azhur smiled enigmatically:
- "This can still change but, for the moment, in my idea, we won't go at the main gates. We will take a secret way and try to get the help of the weird allies that The Creator put on our way. I want to avoid the first contact with the authorities because the puppet king still command them. I want to preach first among the common people of the city.I know them well, I know they are always first to suffer and I believe they are suffering now... They will understand my message, they will support it and they will be with us when time will be there to convince the leaders. My message of Crusade being far more important than me, it has to be known before I show up in front of any authorities, especially the rokari church and this evil swine of King Guillarm. You know Aarolin, the Farmer Caste is perhaps scorned by rokari nobles, but never forget that its power is the greatest: Farmer survives and nourrishes !"

Checking Azhur's relationships to see if he can gather some community support, check followers's help, determine the best ritual and so on ! 
Personnally I'm interested to see your rules application step by step as with the global result to learn a little from this new set of gloranthean rules (I never heroquested in all these years of RQ).

Aaronlin the Broken Knight of Seshnela, looks in awe
at the Sinnersbane as he makes his speech calling upon
the union of the god-fearing Malkioni against the
destructive forces that confront them here and
elsewhere. He drops to his knees in front of Anzhur,
barely daring to lift his head and speaks;

"You preach good news to the dispossesed, Anzhur
Sinnerbane. You are not just a prophet but more than
one. I was lost in the woods, but now my essence is
filled with purpose."

"I once believed the path of the Hrestoli was
erroneous. 'They mix with the farmers, the artisans
and worse.', I said, 'How is it possible that one can
have a noble soul in such company. How wrong I was!
The Kingdom of Malkion is in the heart of all and all
may my attain it." 

Aarolinit slowly stands. "Yes, Anzhur, I shall go to
Seguarane with you and I shall tell them what I have
seen. Now is the time for the true apostates and
righteous heretics to be united indeed - this is the
time, this is the place."

(Yes, this was a critical success against a critical
failure for Aarolin's much reduced resistance; he's at
the point where if anyone can give him hope, he'll
take it...)

Wilkairtha on the other hand is less enthusiastic in
his response; indeed, he continues to have the deep
seriousness of a careful tactician who neither betrays
his thoughts nor his emotions.

"Anzhur Sinnerbane, you speak of great promise. I have
little doubt of the honour of your intentions,
although I wonder if you convince the desparate
Knights and Wizards of Seguarane to join by your side.
Nonethless, the time is best and it appears that you
have both the Power and the circumstances better than
any other opportunity. It is.. unusual that I find
myself in this position, but I hope you succeed."

Both the Telmori and the Aldryami shall send envoys to
travel with you to Segurane.
