Yes, Brave and Intrepid are very-near. In french, this words don't have the exact same meanings (but this is very often, synonyms can take differents meanings depending of the rest of the sentence). For exemple you can't resist pain by being 'Intrepid', but just by being 'Brave'. I don't know if this work also in english.

To me, 'Brave' is a moral passive attitude, 'Intrepid' is a more active behavior... but your the GM. 'Intrepid' makes you take risks, 'Brave' makes you endure the consequencies...

It is perhaps more clear for 'Combative' and 'Try Harder', but of course you're rigth they are very near in this case. To me, 'Combative' is an offensive energy and 'Try Harder' is a reaction in front of possible failure. You can't be 'Combative' while crafting something, because there is no competion, but you can still try harder...

You're the GM, you decide, but the problem will come again in the future, If we ban synonyms uses, may I stack all the HP spent on one choice
'Brave' 17 and 'Intrepid' 18 becoming 'Brave or Intrepid' at 2W
And
'Combative' 17 and 'Try Harder' 17 becoming 'Combative or Try Harder' at 1W

These skills come from different keywords, I don't know how the official rules regulate this point (personnaly in my games, I accept all synonyms if you have it on your sheet, so you can have a 'brave-courageous-intrepid' augment)

Your decision, whatever it will be (even refuse everything), is accepted of course.

You can be 'Honorable' and 'Combative', I think.
But right, 'Charitable' and 'Combative' tend to substract themselve when mix together, however the debate will last quite long. Isn't it possible to be combative at the begining and charitable at the end ?

Very vaguely, could you tell me the HQ rules page ?
Then could he use his 'Gossip' to disturb the adversary ?

Thanks for considering theses points and giving me your final decison.
Thanks
Loran
