Azhur nodded at Icthya’s comments:
- “It is a wise advice that I will consider. Instead of searching first YaoFune in Lei Tabor, we would seek Mrs. Flint on the Blue Moon Plateau…”
The loskalmi sighted:
- “The friendly Aalmon of the beginning of our Quest would have done marvels during such trip through the Lunar Empire… Anyway, I suppose from what he learned us on his strange Red Goddess that the imperial authorities will help an official delegation searching to save the arrolian states in the Janube Valley. After all these places are natural allies for them and a could make a good buffer against the Kingdom of War the day the last remains of the Ban will dissipate…  By the way, visiting both Dragon Pass and the Lunar Empire will certainly be instructive for future diplomatic decisions in Seshnela and Loskalm.”
Feeling more reassured, Azhur smiled at the plant-woman:
- “I agree with you, it seems a far more reasonable option. We will listen to others’ points of view and take our decision. I wonder how will Serendipitous Seeker take this delay.”

Icthya begs leave of Nauticles and drags Azhur off out of earshot. "If
Seshnela allies itself now against the Lunar Empire, what hope has its
King of crossing the length of the Empire to reach the Blue Moon
Plateau? I would rather travel north now to the trolls..." she pauses
for a moment in surprise at her own words, "...and seek to cross Pent
to the Kingdom of Ignorance. We should remain neutral in this matter;
I have always heard these barbarians to be a savage, warlike people,
while the Empire seeks peace of a sort."

"The man is right, though. I have been this way before and the coast
from here is completely inhospitable; you need to make a quick run
else you run out of water."

Hmmm...I think Icthya is seeing a Balkans situation here.
