- "Amen!" concluded Azhur looking to Riku's back, as the strange sorceror from the past was leaving the place. "'Never judge a person on his face or on his words but only on his actions' use to say my father and so it will be with you, Riku! I don't envy your place in this world, but you deserve all the rest that the Abdining Book may offer you as much as anyone else..."
Azhur let the godlearner leave and then had a look on the parchment to check if he had to keep it safe until Riku's return or if it was just some piece of trash.

For the first time in his life, Riku hesitated....unsure of what to make of Azhur's continuing generosity and support....Usually Riku would have cursed and walked away....but he unexplicably felt a debt of gratitude towards the King. After a moment's hesitation, Riku continued:
"While I still have no affection for the rest of our 'party'," ["bumbling idiots", he murmured to himself], "I must admit to being impressed by your respect towards knowledge and wisdom. I have no love for "Gods" but I believe our mutual respect for gaining knowledge could see us continue for a while as companions."
Riku cringed as a sharp pain through his hands caused him to pause a moment.
"If I return, I would like to continue travelling with you in the hope of finding more wonderful artifacts like The Abiding Book. Inform me of any more discoveries, if you would."
"I shall find a map seller and then be on my way." Riku turned to leave, pausing midway, "Oh yes, I assume you would not like to leave The Abiding Book in my dangerous 'hands'.....The Book is over there, just behind you, along with my belongings that I didn't think were necessary for my journey."
Riku departed quickly and with clear intent.
Open looking in the direction of The Book, Azhur could probably not help but notice some parchment laying next to it. [OOC: Which I will most certainly transcribe for anyone wishing to investigate :)]

Azhur considered Riku's offer of services:
- "Well, it seems then that the land way is then better fitted for you. If the maps are correct Jankley Bore will be at the end of the pentian steppes. But you know Riku, if you have helped well and if your goals are honorable, there will be no reason that in return, we don't provide you with all the help we can offer for the success of your personal objectives… I wish it of course…"
For a moment Azhur expected some explanations on what could be such a driving goal for a man who was kept in reclusion for centuries and whose world had collapsed and vanished so long ago…

Riku walks up to Azhur, "Your Highness, I wish to travel in the direction of Jankley Bore, and I shall be of service to you as long as we head in that general direction. Otherwise, I would ask your pardon to attend to some 'business'. I shall await your response". Riku turns around quickly and resumes his study of the Abiding Book

"Aye, the peace of Death!" says Jareena. "Azhur, I do not know what the others may do, but for me this quest will have no purpose if the God and Goddess of my people is slain!"
