Thinking that it could be good for Riku’s education to let him see the ruins of the Godlearners Empire and hubris anyway, Azur wondered if the sailing wizard was really fully aware of absolute destructions that occurred a long time ago on the silly and conceited attempts of both the Dragon Pass inhabitants to become Dragons themselves and of the jrustelan exiles to master the full Creation as if anyone could be able to muster the greatness of the One Creator Himself.

How long before mortal creatures forget the message of their own condition and fall again into such terrible lack of humility? Challenging the Invisible God, whatever it was, by threatening the nature of the universe itself and automatically calling the Devil back again?

Having witnessed the grizzly horror of the Kingdom of  War and recently the treacherous conversion of Theoblanc to evil boristism, Azhur was obsessed by the idea that this time was back again. The Loskalm Kingdom in his virtuous perfection was considered as invincible, but since his faith in his own church died, Azhur, night and day, doubted.
Visiting the ruins, after all, could have a depressing effect on him. Could such visitations of the past also be visions of the future?

Suddenly struck by melancholy, Azhur answered cryptically:
- “Well at least such a visit could be good for your own edification. Sometime a vision of Death is also an invitation to start a new life… let’s Eurynome guide us.”

Throughout this whole "ordeal" Riku has been silently muttering phrases such as "Defiling our citadel! How dare they...", "weak, pathetic, creatures..." "no different from the rest of them....blindly worshipping..."

Awaking from his thoughts at Azhur's questioning, he responded "No, your majesty, I would like nothing to do with these savages...however, with your permission and protection, I would like to explore this city..."

Azhur probably could not help noticing the increased twitching in Riku's hands as he made the request......

Quite boldly but without menace, the noble man of the West turned to face the dragonewt and told the draconic creature:
- "Right, then if you speak… hmmm… may we know your name, who-doesn't-speak-in-front-of his-boss-and-isn't–a-lizard-but-wants-to-go-with-our-fellowship?"
