[HQ Ignorance] Re : Scene 67: Thanor: As Above, As Below.

Still feeling the icy hand of Death on his own Essence, Azhur declined Riku’s offer to visit the ruins of Thanor. Thinking about crushed empires was darkening his mood and probably visions of this would only make it worst. Instead he stayed on the shore watching Eurynome casting her strange water magic and observing the group vanishing in the sea.
When the mermen announced the arrival  of the smelchian pirates, the former knight in him, the hunter of criminals, woke up. Apparently, everywhere, some were devoting themselves to violence and murder. Before the fall of the Syndic’s ban, Loskalm was a heaven of peace and harmony, the true example that cooperation was a greater value than predation, but the ban felt and the virtuous kingdom discovered the menacing and ever growing Kingdom of War. No wonder this abomination grew like a spreading disease if the external world was so violent… it was too easy to find allies and desperate victims to nourish its burning hunger of destruction.
Azhur’s duty was obvious, he observed the situation with a military eye. His first concerns was for the ship and the sailors. With a bitter and sad laugh, Azhur answered the weird draconian creature near him:
- “I have already tasted Death myself. It is like ashes and you can never quench your thirst for life after. Let’s be more generous and charitable, let’s offer them a full meal… a terminal slipknot around the neck.”

Lev, we need some tactical elements here.
- Is our ship hidden in a shelter or could it be the first target of the pirates ?
- Have we made a short stop here (then our horses are probably still aboard, in the ship) or did we planned to stay a little bit longer, exploring and searching in the ruins (then the horses and most of the crew are on land)?
