1 HP will turn a marginal failure into a marginal success, 2 into a
major success and 3 into a total success. "Success" here meaning how
long it takes you to suck the octopus away, how far it goes and how many
of the fish creatures you get as well.
I give out Hero Points on a regular basis, usually after major turning
points in the plot.
