Well, it is a ship (which isn't small) and they do have their own mages
and crew to put out fires (don't know what it is about sailors being
paranoid about fires on ships). Nevertheless with 3 Hero Points spent.

"Suddenly the fire spirit rises again from the forecastle, whence it had
sought refuge. Escaping the water elemental, it sought the dry bones of
the mast and sail, consuming the timber and cloth as such a spirit does.
The crew panicked, some started hacking at the rigging and others sought
buckets of water. One summoned a small air elemental to deny a source
for the fires to feed."
