Eurynome gives a brief background to herself and the
circumstances that led her to be found at a slave
auction.

She is an initiate of Dormal's sea-going religion, and
works with the elderly Lhankor Mhy scholar Nauticles
in Nochet. The scholar commissioned her to find the
ruins of the famous Godlearner city, Thanor. With
Nauticles' notes, Eurynome successfuly located the
site among an archipelago of small islands with the
assistance of some of the merpeople of Mournsea.
Although the islands were inhabited by DragonNewts,
they did not interfere with her investigations.

Unfortunately her boat and crew were captured by
pirates, who were in turn captured by Khorst naval
forces. She attempted to protest her innocence, but to
no avail and was sold into slavery in Khorst.
