For a moment Aalmon had to wonder how he had caught himself up in a war
in which he found both sides unlovable and could not find it in his
heart to hope that either would win. That is the secret of War he mused
to himself, it drags us in whether we wish it or not.
He turned around to the elf and spoke in their Western tongue "So my
lady, which way should I lead you to get us where we need to go?"
He looked again at the ruffians and the foolishly brave farmers, he
would have to free them if he Icthya to head back into rebel held lands.
Possibly a little dangerous but he should be able to handle it. The
other one he was not so sure, not of what she was or of what threat she
might pose.
