Xigxag shows some interest in this. "They say that the God the Vampires,
Vivamort himself, had a castle in the woods to the north and east of
here. He might even still be there, hiding among the plants." He casts a
distrustful eye at Icthya. "Do Vampires drink sap?"

"What's there to say? This is wilderness and old wilderness at that.
Trolls, giants, and assorted monsters with primitive humans eking out an
existence. The Giants are perhaps the most fascinating of the creatures
here, yes, even more so than the darkmen. The first humans they call
themselves. The most serious landmark is Griffin Mountain, and you may
be surprised to discover that there are Griffins there. Now the Blue
Moon Plateau - there's a place of magic and wonder to visit! But how are
you intending to climb it? What will you say to the guardians when you
reach it? How you breathe the air, what will you eat?"
