That comment was not really about them, more about how paranoid Aalmon
is right now and how much he thinks the whole world is picking on him ;-)

Aalmon grins nastily and unleashes his starfire spirit to blaze fire
onto their bows, when a shaman had done that to him he had nearly fallen
out of the saddle so he knew how disconcerting it could be. He let the
horse have its head, speed might not outrun arrows but it only needed to
move him enough to spoil the aim with him weaving around the obstacles.
OOC: My intention was just to perform that heal as a sort of unrelated
action whilst still primarily outrunning the pursuit. No matter. I never
thought it likely that it would change the outcome of the contest with
Icthya unless Sam pulls something pretty remarkable out of the hat.
Aalmon is using his 10W Flaming Weapon to make their bows burst into
Flame. I don't think it damages the bows themselves but it should be
mightily distracting and might hurt a bit and might even spook the
horses. Its probably just a negative augment for the archery. The shots
should be tricky enough anyway with a moving target which is is main
line of defence - move fast.
