OOC: So the current situation is that Aalmon is riding away with an
arrow through his neck? Cool.

The Arrolian curses at his fetish as the captive spirit misunderstands
his commands and refuses to do as he wills. He is so caught up in his
own anger that he hardly even sees the horse archer as he looses the
arrow then foolishly turns his head to the rushing sound as it
approaches, turning towards the oncoming arrow so that it misses his
helmet and strikes him in the neck almost hard enough to unseat him.
Wounded he rides on, the rising dizziness competing with a stubborn
pride and courage. He grasps at the grimoire in his satchel hoping that
its essence could ease the suffering and tried to add to this with his
own minor magics to bear the pain and the rising darkness.
