[HQ Ignorance] Scene 101: On the Blue Moon plateua

Aalmon regarded the strange trollkin for a moment, after all Beast's 
comments regarding trollkin he had hardly expected one to be in charge. 
It occurred to him that if these trolls were so different in one way 
they were likely to differ in others as well, best not to assume they 
would behave like the last trolls he had travelled amongst.

"There is a long story or a short story to answer that question. While 
we are stood here perhaps the shorter version will suffice."

"We are of the Fellowship of Talor and as in ages past the Fellowship is 
trying to stop Gbaji before he can destroy the world. In the first age a 
blue troll called Natchkling was in the Fellowship, the prophesies of 
the ghost of the First Man say that to stop this great evil we must find 
the inheritor of his sword and seek his aid."

"So here we are, looking for an initiate of the Blue Moon who is the 
keeper of a sword which once served the same cause that we now serve."

He stops to cough and clear his throat

"There is a much, much longer version with lots of beautiful princesses, 
despicable tyrants, chaos, vampires and tragic sacrifice but I think we 
should leave that for another time."

He stops to see how the trollkin reacts.
