There's three of these creatures on the Aldraymi, who was attacked with
surprise, so she's no help at the moment. 

OK, that's Swordstaff roll 9 is a failure, bumped to a critical. It
defends with it's Chitonous Shell 18 augmented by Dodge 15 (+3) and
rolls 18, a success, reducing the effect to a minor victory, or -10% to
appropriate actions.

The three slithering mouths bit into the Elf at 2W, rolling 6, 17 and 6
respectively. These are all failures, bumped to successes. The Elf,
being stuck, effectively has a defence of 0, and fails all three rolls.

So my ruling is that The Fourth has wounded continues it's attacks and
is out of combat (dead or dying). Icthya has taken three impairing
wounds, which stack. She's now at -30% to all actions - if she could
take any.
