- "The interest for the kralori officer is obvious: to get rid of Lei Tse's menace in Lei Tabor! If he doesn't use us to annihlate it, sooner or later another plot will show up and this time he may be in a worse situation to answer it... but sometime, people rely more on their own false beliefs than on Logic and facts, that why we have to convince him, especially if this officer lacks understanding."
This been said, Azhur wondered on his own current lack of beliefs. Since his faith has died on the heroic plan, he knew that Logic was often only an apparent link between not-so-related facts. Will the commanding officer be stuck in a different frame ? A pattern of thinking that his western mind was unable to imagine? Or was Reason and Logic something enough universal to be shared among peoples of different horizons? at the end, what will be the conclusion given in their Abiding Book?"
