But, when I look closely, there is much more that seems familiar. In my heart, I feel their strangeness, but in my soul, I feel their call."

And purpose is a good thing. We all have a purpose," he glances over to Icthya and smiles, "from the smallest blade of grass, to the mightiest oak."

Aalmon lets his small companion finish speaking before telling his tale, he fingers his amulets trusting that the Stars would aid him in dealing peaceably with these strange unheard of barbarians.
"If I am strange then it is because fate makes me seem so. My name is Aalmon and I am but a humble messenger, yet the message I carry has such weight that it has crushed kingdoms and brought down destruction on religions. I come from a land far to the west of the empire, I set out to save my people from War and destruction but fate has her own ideas and it appears we must save the world to save our own people. Icthya the elf lady and I have faced armies of undead and chaos horrors, it makes me feel sick to have to do it again but I have seen the punishments Fate hands out to those who defy her so I will stick to my path and face what I must face. The Fourth is a bundle of surprises has faced trials of his own, standing here as proof that he prevailed. If his fate is to answer your lightbringer summons then it is also our fate.
