(Apologies for the delay, stupidly busy week)

As Azhur readies his loyal follows to destroy the rogue Kalen, Rikku
stands firm against the horde of a score spirits summoned by the wounded
Wizard. But the quantity of the horde is great and Rikku is overwhelmed.

(Rikku's "attack" Roll 10, ability 16, but -60(!) due to quantity versus
roll 4, ability 5W, critical success)

(Rikku's "defense" Roll 7, ability 16 for the first, 13 for the second, 10
for the third, versus roll 8,  9, 2, ability 5W, fail, bump to success,
marginal failure for Rikku)

Rikku's face contorts for a moment, as his brow furrows, dropping his
sickle with an audible clutter, and turns towards the Fellowship with
grinning even more wickedly than usual.

Meanwhile, Azhur leads a charge into the Kalen machine, wielding a True
Silver Sword, and augmented by his loyal allies. The Kalen robot again
ignores these impediments and strives to storm through them, but is
stopped by the sheer weight of numbers, magic and skill of Azhur and his
personal guard. Huge blows and magics are landed against the Mostal as
sparks, wires and fluid burst asunder.

(8W1 + 4 (one against several) + 3 (one of ... charitable is most
appropriate) + 4 Aarolin + 5 Othor + 5 Swordsinger) = 9W2, roll 13, fail,
bumped to success, bumped to critical versus, 8W1, roll 17, failure, a
major success for Azhur, Kalen-bot will be at -50% to all appropriate
actions)...
