First the Seeker becomes conscious of the all-encompassing silence. It has
been here before, inside the egg. A sensation of feeling, the sense of
location.
The feeling of pain, the recognition of self. "I am the Seeker".
The realisation of collectivity. "I am a Eravssarr, a Dragonewt"
But that is where the test begins, and the Seeker wonders. "What shall I
become when I hatch?"
There is the sense, the potential, of growing wings and frills.
"Was I a patient Noble? Or was I impatient?"
"Was I an honourable? Or was I dishonourable?"
"Was I extroverted or inroversted?"
The Seeker knows, from previous incarnations, that these conflicts must be
expressed, openly, to the great mind of the Cosmic Dragon.
But this choice is difficult. If The Seeker is reborn as a Ruler, then it
will spend most of its time asleep at the nest, contemplating the
potential ascent as a True Dragon.
What a great opportunity, another step on the rung to escape this material
experience, and exist in the life of dreams.
But The Seeker has listened carefully to this Fellowship, and the Kingdom
of War, and the rise of Orxili in the west. Would return, once again, as a
Noble Priest give the flexibility to remain with these people?
Can this conundrum be resolved? What choices will The Seeker make?
