Azhur pondered for a long moment the Dragon's last comment and felt crushed by its consequences. Even, or perhaps because, of his  former serious training in logical thinking, the implications for a doubting and agnostic Azhur were terrible. "Nothing but the Void" which seems a cruel pleonastic joke, "No Invisible Hand determining the Abiding Book" but a mere magical scribe relating near past events. The fellowship appeared suddenly as only a pure destiny device: whatever they will do, it will write their future determing what the malkioni world will become... or was this future determining what they were doing..?
