Far beyond her wishes, Karala does indeed find on the "ground" floor a
well-stocked kitchen and storeroom with providence for a very large number
of individuals. Although it is mostly grains there does seem to be a
significant amount of salted and dried pork.

[Also, there is indeed cans of "monthly stew" in the vending machines,
which might approximate what you're looking for..]
