<div>What I would suggest is to remember it is an iterative process. Take your narrative and underline what you think becomes abilties. Then look at the bits without underlining and rewrite those. The long bits of underlining you may want to shorten. I tend to find I can get 20 or more abilities out of a narrative, which is a form of min-maxing. (In my defence, I usually fall short of 100 words.) Here´s an example in case it helps.
