Rikku spends the evening in relative calm reading The Abiding Book. In the morning he prepares his precious sickle for the onslaught to come. He prepares his robes and steps outside and moves towards Karala. "Karala, I think I may be able to use your fire spirits to gives us a major advantage. I can manipulate the fire (Fire Sight 13) to make them even more deadly." Rikku is quite noticeably distressed when talking about fire and thinks to himself: "If only I can gather enough strength to get near the flames!" (Fear Fire 13)

The night before the Battle, Karala, covered in covered in ash, sat before a great fire and prepared herself for the fight to come. Her Reindeer spirit she sent to Beast Valley to contact a Shaman there and call for the promised hep of the Temori People. Opening her sight to the world of the Spirits, she called forth a Gnome (4pts) and bound it to her bidding. In the morning she gave herself to her loyal Telmori companions, then, mounted on her Great Wolf and , flanked by her Wolf Warriors, she faced the coming day.

Her plan, unless ordered to do otherwise, was to stay back, confusing and harassing the enemy with her Fire Spirits and making lightning quick attacks with her Wolf and her Wolf companions where needed. Her mighty new Gnome Spirit was a versatile companion to be used when the moment most called for it. Swimming in the Otherworld about her was her deadly Shark Spirit ready to Eat Anything that might attack from this unseen direction...
