Once his healing attempt has finished, and angered by the partial failure of his plan, Rikku unsheathes his Sickle and directs his rage at the Iron Guards still standing. [OOC: Rikku uses "Sickle Fighting 20" plus "Vengeful 19" - given Rikku's personality, as I see it, he would feel vengeance towards the guards as the reason for his water plan not succeeding 100%, even though it was obviously his own magic failures. Rikku is hardly the type to accept blame of any kind, and the Iron Guards not being destroyed 100% by the water would be taken as a personal slight to Rikku's god-like self. The water gushes down the stairs to where Kalen continues to fight the two<br>
Iron Guards. However, it is hardly an epic flow. Although steam sizzles<br>
from the feet and ankles of the guards, they continue fighting the Dwarf.<br>
Twice the guards strike Kalen on his head from either side, and the Dwarf<br>
falls to the ground... just as there are sounds from more Iron Guards at<br>
the base of the stairs and more from above..<br>

[Iron Guards Sword 10W (down five due to water) versus Kalen Axe 10 (down<br>
five due to previous positional weakness and -3 for two opponents), roll 1<br>
versus roll 13, equal armour cancels, minor victory to guards, Kalen in<br>
positional weakness. Major defeat for Kalen!]<br>

OOC: Rotterex/Kalen has no Hero Points left, meaning that Erica cannot<br>
spend any to change the result. Rikku can spend Hero Points to increase<br>
the flow of water, or modify the existing flow (vague hint there). The<br>
Seeker or Jareena and colleagues may also think about pitching in<br>
somehow...<br>
