They witness some trollkin sentries at the gate, but they simply wave them<br clear="none">
on, apparently inebriated, saying "The party is that way..."<br clear="none">

The directions are not necessary. The two trollkin have good hearing and<br clear="none">
sonar - nowhere as good as trolls of course, but sufficient for these<br clear="none">
purposes. Inside the castle they can hear and feel the thrumming of drums,<br clear="none">
and sense the many bodies in the main hall. Occasionally they hear<br clear="none">
laughter, something which rarely comes from a trollkin, consider the most<br clear="none">
wretched of species, typically destined for a life of pain and unhappiness<br clear="none">
only slightly better that what their mythology calls The Black Eater.<br clear="none">

As Akihi and The Fourth make their way from the foyer towards the great<br clear="none">
hall, the sounds of drumming, laughter, and and general debauchery become<br clear="none">
stronger. One of the doors of the main hall swings open and a giggling<br clear="none">
naked trollkin young woman runs past them into the courtyard, her six<br clear="none">
breasts bouncing. A moment later three male trollkin follow, grinning and<br clear="none">
apparently in pursuit.<br clear="none">

Akihi steps forward and opens the door to the main chamber, and among the<br clear="none">
tumultuous sound of the drumming, a most unusual sight awaits The<br clear="none">
Fourth....<br clear="none">
