Tomus casts the spell successfully, causing an illusion some 100 feet
wide of swirling dust. Nearly all of the foolish scorpion men with their
weak minds are easily fooled by this simple - and probable - illusions
(one rolled a 03).  The one with the elongated tail is not so convinced
(roll 26); hissing at Tomus, she summons a bolt of lightning to her
hand, and before she has time to cast it [it takes two phases], Tomus
directs the daggers towards scorpion woman [in action which also takes a
phase].

Tomus releases the daggers towards the woman before she can release her
bolt of lightning; both the daggers strike her (roll 35 and 21) in the
vitals (27 points of damage) and releasing lightning on their strike (18
points of damage). With a howl, she falls to the ground and the daggers
journey back to Tomus' hand.

Although confusion still reigns, one scorpion man has bellowed a command
above the dust-storm and he is charging towards you; the others seem
that they will follow suit. The leader will arrive in a few seconds, and
the others shortly after him. They do not look happy that their female
has died.
