Dridian grabs the spear and casts Flight (roll 14), and charges at the
Elder Dragon. Although looking a little surprised as the bravery of the
Goidan, the Dragon rushes towards the Wizard..

Apparently The Fates were listening, as Dridian struck force with the
Spear of the Fierazi, scoring the hit that so many others wanted but had
not (roll 02!). As the blow struck the Dragon the back of the throat the
Fatal Spear activated again [10 + 1 + 4 + 16 = 31 - 6 NAV = 25 points of
damage] and the Dragon bites at the Goidan [7 points of damage after
armour].
Incredibly, Dridian is still alive and flying with the Spear in the
Dragon's throat.
"Keep pushing", whispers a voice in his head.
