Agreed; definately. Indeed, I owe to you to point me
to the proper forge elements and to drum into my head
that having a narrative (storywise) is not the same as
narrative game design.
I've been helped of course since then by playing Hero
Wars, Dogs in the Vineyard, Trollbabe etc.

Quite true; gamism has justification on its own terms.
D20 is a reasonable example of a good gamist system.
